5. Plug-ins and tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

1. The renter will receive the rented items in a technically perfect condition. Defects are to be reported by the renter on-site immediately upon rental.

2. The rental of the items can only be authorised upon presentation of an identity card or driving licence. A security deposit of €50.00 is also to be paid in cash. This will be refunded upon proper return of the rented item.

3. The currently valid rental prices can be found on our website and in the issuing offices. They are inclusive of taxes and duties.

4. The rental price is to be paid on-site in cash.

5. The renter is obliged to treat the rented items with care. This is especially the case when cruising near the coast/beach. Special attention should be paid here to sharp-edged rocks and stones. In general, and especially where electric motors/fins are mounted, attention should be paid to the depth of water. Furthermore, care is required when landing on beaches. The rented items may only be carried and carefully put down on land. On land, rented items may not be walked on or used for seating. Damage to the material of all and any rented items due to gross negligence or wilful damage must be reported immediately and must be borne in full by the renter. These are not insured by the lender. The taking out of liability insurance is recommended.

6. The renter is obliged to always keep the rented items secured and never to leave them unattended (beach or accommodation). In the event of any loss of the rented items, the renter shall pay the replacement value in accordance with the current replacement list of the equipment. Theft of the rental items is also not insured. The renter assumes full liability for the rented items upon handover.

7. Renting or lending to third parties by the renter is prohibited.

8. Upon signature, the renter confirms that all persons using the rented items are able to swim. Wearing a buoyancy aid is strongly recommended. This is provided to each user by the lender. The lender excludes any liability for personal injury resulting from the use of its rented items.

9. The load capacity and number of persons for each rented item specified on our website must not be exceeded. It is also important to ensure the correct set-up (especially air pressure).

10. No money will be refunded in the event of a cancellation of the rental, e.g. due to a lack of interest, illness, bad weather or other reasons.

11. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the rented item in a proper condition including all accessories. In the event of return in a dirty, unacceptable condition, €10.00 may be retained for cleaning.

12. Gorilla Beach S.L. is not liable for any personal injury, damage to health, property or transportation damage caused to the renter or third parties using the rented item. The lender shall be indemnified by the renter against third party claims. The renter shall indemnify the lender against all claims arising from the violation of laws, ordinances or other regulations in the use of the rented item by him/her or any third person. Use is at your own risk. No liability is assumed for lost or damaged valuables.

13. Gorilla Beach S.L. expressly rejects any claims to recourse. Insofar as no mandatory provisions exist to the contrary, it is agreed that any disputes arising from this contract shall be governed by Spanish law and that the court with subject-matter jurisdiction shall have jurisdiction.

14. Severability clause: should one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic and legal intentions of the contracting parties.
